Directions to Parkfields
From the M50
At the end of the M50 take the first exit off the roundabout. This is a short stretch of dual carriageway which leads
to another roundabout. Take the first exit onto to the Ross bypass. At the mini roundabout take the second exit for Gloucester A40. Follow the A40 through Weston-under-Penyard and to Ryeford. At Ryeford after the “S” bend take the first turning on the right signed Hope Mansell/Pontshill. There is a brown sign for Parkfields here. Follow the road, bearing right just after the phone box. Continue until you see the Parkfields sign on the righthand side. The turning for Parkfields is the first right turn after this sign. (As a guide it is approximately 1 mile from the A40).
From Wales
At the first Ross-on-Wye roundabout (Wilton Roundabout) take the second exit and continue on the dual carriageway. At the next roundabout take the third exit, signed A40 Gloucester which takes you on to a short, straight bypass. At the mini roundabout take the second exit for Gloucester A40. Follow the A40 through Weston-under-Penyard and to Ryeford. At Ryeford after the “S” bend take the first turning on the right signed Hope Mansell/Pontshill. There is a brown sign for Parkfields here. From Birmingham and the North
Please follow the route as From M50.
From London and the South East (via the Severn Bridge)
At junction 24 on the M4 at Newport, take A449/A40 to Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye. Then follow directions From Wales. Please note that the toll for the Severn Bridge is payable from the English side!
From London (via Gloucester)
At junction 15 on the M4, take the A417/419 to Cirencester and Gloucester. At Gloucester take the A40 towards Ross-on-Wye and continue on this road for approximately 16 miles, driving through, Highnam, Churcham, Birdwood, Huntley, Longhope and Lea. At the next village, Ryeford, turn left, signed for Hope Mansell/ Pontshill where there is also a brown sign for Parkfields. Follow the road, bearing right just after the phone box. Continue until you see the Parkfields sign on the right hand side. The turning for Parkfields is the first right turn after this sign. (As a guide it is approximately 1 mile from the A40).
By Rail
There are mainline train services to Gloucester (16 miles), Hereford, (18 miles) and Ledbury, (14 miles). Please note that taxis must be pre-booked from Ledbury as there is no taxi-rank there.
