When picking a Wedding Venue it is important to make sure that all questions are answered before a booking is made.
You may think that some questions are important or you may feel a bit silly asking them but I can assure you that we have heard them all and we are always on hand to put your mind at rest.
So, we thought it would be a good idea to answer some of the usual and occasionally unusual questions we get asked……
Are the menus flexible?
Absolutely. We actively encourage our couples to be creative with their wedding day menus. There are so many options to choose from and we are always on hand to help with suggestions.
Do you have a Wedding Co-ordinator? Will they be on site for the celebrations?
Yes, Amy, our Wedding Planner works full time at Parkfields and will work with you right up to and including your big day.
Does the Venue hire price change depending on date?
Yes, our exclusive use venue hire charge varies depending on date and time of year. We work closely with our couples to establish your requirements and we base the venue hire charge on your particular celebrations. The prices start at £1,000 per 24 hours.
Does the Venue come fully equipped?
Yes, we have everything on site that would be required for any celebration. A full team incising personal chef, tables, chairs, cutlery, glassware, crockery, table linen, easels, table number holders and cake knife. Nothing would need to be hired in.
Can we bring our Dog?
Yes of course, any well behaved dogs are welcome at Parkfields. We would ask that they do not enter the dining rooms or bedrooms
Can guests throw confetti?
Absolutely, as much as you want, as long as its natural or biodegradable.
Can we have fireworks?
No problem. We are lucky to be surrounded by lots of woodland and agricultural land so we would ask that you use one of our listed firework suppliers that have already carried out a rick assessment.
How does the parking work?
We have a parking field at the bottom of the drive that we encourage your guests to use. Its worth leaving the front of the house clear of vehicles ready for the photographs.
Do I really need Wedding insurance?
Absolutely Yes! This does not just include the venue, it can cover any mishaps that occur before on on your bug day. Its really not worth taking the risk. Check out: www.johnlewisfinance.com/
