Do something different for your next Corporate Event In Herefordshire!

So, when Julie & Simon were offered the opportunity to take a test drive they jumped at the chance! (plus, I was quite keen to get them both from under my feet for the afternoon!)

Simon made the most of the opportunity by taking to the wheel for this ultimate off roading experience. Julie on the other hand made her option of Simon’s driving skills quite apparent. The words “scream if you want to go faster!’ come to mind!

In all seriousness, although they both had a great time, the purpose of the event was to meet the team at Land Rover Eastnor and to check out what they had to offer. Over the past few years Parkfields has specialised in providing the supercar experience to our corporate clients but when Land Rover was thrown in to the mix it was quite a revelation!
Of course, 2016 is a landmark year for Land Rover with the last of the Defender model rolling off the production line. However, the team at Land Rover Eastnor give their guests the opportunity to experience driving this iconic vehicle over the challenging course.

What made you choose Parkfields Wedding Venue in Herefordshire?
It was the first venue we viewed, from the literature we knew we would like it but as soon as we turned into the long gravel drive and saw the idyllic building, lawns and pond we were sold! The other factors that made us choose the venue were having exclusive use of the venue and grounds, the reviews we had read from other couples and the attitude and professionalism of the in house wedding planner Amy.
What food did you have?
I can easily remember this as every guest commented on how good the food was. For starter we had Warm Stilton Tart with Red Onion Marmalade & Baby Leaves. Main – Roast Breast of Chicken Wrapped in Herbs & Pancetta with a Wild Mushroom Compote & Roast Jus. Dessert – Warm Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream.
What were the top two things you wanted at your wedding?
The two things we would not compromise on were complete Exclusive Use of the Venue and a tranquil setting/location in Herefordshire. Parkfields easily accommodated both of these, especially the location given they offer full use of the whole venue and its 11 acres of grounds.

Any stand out moments or comedy error that happened throughout the day?
When exchanging our vows Stephanie’s ring would not fit so I sucked her finger and it went straight on like a dream!!
Do you have any wedding regrets or would you have done anything differently?
We had 8 children all under the age of 4 so in hindsight I wish we had hired a children’s entertainer for when photographs were being taken, but apart from that it was an amazing day and I would do it every Saturday if I could afford it!

Did You Know?
Now, we know that Parkfields is the perfect setting for all types of Wedding celebrations in Herefordshire from intimate midweek family celebrations to a full on traditional affair. However, believe it or not, there are some common misconceptions about Chelsea Parkfields Wedding Venue and I’m here to explain why they are simply not true!
1) “Wow, that place looks expensive!!!!”
I know I have pointed this out many times before but Parkfields it only costs £1500.00 for 24 hours Exclusive Use! (some people pay more than that for a cake!)
This is the starting point for your celebrations and then this allows you to build the Wedding Celebration that you want! Just as a quick example if you would like to celebrate with 60 guests at a reception offering prosecco, canapés, a three course meal, wine, toast drinks & evening snacks you would be paying less than £6,000.00!
If you are worried about budget why not get married on a Sunday with your closest family & friends? Or you could of course take up our Winter Wedding Promotion!

2) “Parkfields does not look big enough for our celebrations!”
When considering a Wedding venue in Herefordshire, capacity is a very important consideration. Its probably best to work out a rough guest list and look at venues that suit that number.
We find that ALOT of people perceive Parkfields to be a little on the small side but I can tell you that its simply not true! With seating for up to 90 day guests for a Ceremony & Wedding breakfast we can cater for quite a sizeable celebration. You can always invite more guests for the evening of course!

3) “You have to take 12 bedrooms as part of the hire!”
There is a little bit of truth to this one but these bedrooms are not a direct cost to the bridal party, your guests would simply be asked to pay for accommodation as they check out. If you have Exclusive Use of a beautiful, grade 2 listed Wedding Venue in Herefordshire for your Celebrations then you will have a cue of guests wanting to stay!
If you are really worried about not being able to fill 12 bedrooms you could always hire under the Winter Promotion and that way you are not required to take any bedrooms at all!
We know that choosing the perfect Wedding Venue in Herefordshire for you can be quite a challenge. Here at Parkfields we do everything that we can to make sure you have all of the facts before you make that one big decision!

Book your Winter Wedding with no Venue Hire Fee!
Always loved the idea of an intimate Winter Celebration?
Well here is a little incentive!
At Parkfields if you book your Wedding during any of our low season months
We will waive the £1500.00 Venue Hire fee!
We simply ask for you to pay for the individual reception rooms you would like to use.
This is how it works:
Room Hire 12 noon – 12 Midnight
The Main House (Inclusive of 3 reception rooms) – £500.00
The Garden Room – For Wedding Breakfast of 30 or more – £250.00
The Coach House is offered on a complimentary basis with all Civil Ceremony Bookings
These celebrations are for a minimum of 20 and maximum of 90 guests in total.
We have up to 22 en-suite guest bedrooms that you would be more than welcome to use however this is not a compulsory element.
All prices are inclusive of VAT.
Dates: 2nd January – 31st March 2016 & 1st – 30th November 2016
